In between shooting for 'Awake,' I was attempting to have my own pilot season. The audition for 'Anger Management' actually came during a week that I was already testing for a couple other shows and we weren't really letting any other shows into the mix.

I'm extremely positive about investment in Africa. Africa has a wonderful climate, wonderful people, and amazing possibilities. Africa has been called dark and hopeless, but today it is neither of these. Africa is awakening. It's a huge market of almost a billion people with huge resources and a young population. It's the best place to invest.

Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes.

Why can't I write something that would awake the dead? That pursuit is what burns most deeply.

Those who fear the imagination condemn it: something childish, they say, something monsterish, misbegotten. Not all of us dream awake. But those of us who do have no choice.

"Until a great awakening moment comes, we lead our lives in utter ignorance. We agonize over our existence and circumstances. We refuse to see what we can do to make this world a better place.

If you feel an unquenchable thirst in you, welcome it. Celebrate it. In children, this thirst presents itself as curiosity. In adolescents, it appears as a search for love, for belonging. In young adults, it manifests itself as a search for worldly success, validation, recognition and acceptance in society. And when you are past your mid-30s...latest by your 40s...it appears as a search for meaning. Slowly, if you are tuned, and are in sync with the energy that created you, you discover something magical! You awaken to the truth that Life is intrinsically meaningless. And bringing meaning to your Life is your responsibility. You do that by following your Bliss, by choosing not to postpone your Happiness!

"Paint thinner is the boatyard's morning dew. The stringent smell awakens the mind of a sailor as spring flowers awaken the mind of a poet.

When you listen to your intuition and it sparks your creativity, that allows you to become energized to find your purpose. Your purpose cannot be manifested with dormant intuition-you have to reawaken active intuition to be in tune with your purpose. This is why active intuition is like an ignition: it generates that spark-the energy needed to channel holistic wealth.

Without grace nothing is possible. Through every crisis that you have faced, you have become stronger, wiser and awakened. This cannot have been possible without grace. A crisis, a Life challenge, is often grace in disguise.

It is the hardship that awakens hidden talents

Spirituality to me is about becoming your own therapist. It's about inner joy and peace so we can be our best version of ourselves. It's about realizing that everything is connected, that everything has meaning because we give it meaning, awakening from this rollercoaster of life, step off and just marvel at the beauty of it all.

The beauty of Life is that everyone goes through their own unique, personal, process of evolution - shaped by time, their lived experiences and the manner in which they internalize learnings from these experiences. Spirituality then is an intensely personal, private, awakening process. Although the truth is one, no one size fits all. And there is no right or wrong way. All roads are headed in the same direction though.

Awake, Arise, stop not till you write your destiny!

Don't talk of Life as if its one big package of miseries - it is the very Essence within that passes through both you, and your enemies and every permissible illusion. Once you're opened to, and are awakened to your TRUE NATURE, fireworks light up your path, irrespective whether it is a "Tariqa", or a pathless one!

Life on the run was filled with dreams, some at night during sleep, real dreams, and some when the mind was awake but drifting. Most were terrifying, the nightmares of the shadows growing bolder and larger. Others were pleasant wishes of a rosy future, free of the past. These were rare, Patrick had learned. Life on the run was life in the past. There was no closure

If you cannot see yourself fairly or accurately represented in the community where you live... and nothing there makes you feel awake or alive, I suggest you start doing some research on some other communities

Sometimes I'll lie awake at night and listen to the sound of the clock. The motor ticks on endlessly. What an unsettling sound it is when you've yet to find peace - to find solace. Sometimes no matter how exhausted my body is, no matter how tired my thoughts are, no matter how sore my brain and my heart are...even then I still can't fall asleep. Sometimes I wish for nothing more than to sleep. Please, allow me to slip away into the darkest corners of the world and let me be. Just let me sleep. You can close your eyes to the surroundings, but you can't close your ears off to the sound around it. And sometimes the things you wish the most not to hear - are the loudest. They will not go away in the night and be silenced.

You may have the dark and cold street life, ruled by the lessor light of the moon. During this time I restore my temple, and later awake to greet the awesome radiance of the sun-star.

Your visions on a dark path transcend where no foot permits. Throughout life, approach the unreal, and culminate care in nature. Awaken your hidden totality.

Each day begins a new journey of life, for if we awake, there is a reason.
