I'm happy with who I am inside. I'd hate to have accolades and all that and not really be happy with who I was. So I'm really thankful for my family and for the support system that I have for being the person that I am today. I'm proud of who I am.

Follow your passion. Nothing - not wealth, success, accolades or fame - is worth spending a lifetime doing things you don't enjoy.

If you tell Canadians that you want to interview them for a critical piece on the Canadian healthcare system, they'll put on their best trophy-wife smile for the camera and list its many accolades. Catch them on a day with their guard down in need of actual care, however, and the truth comes out.

Somebody said to me, 'Whenever somebody says your name, a smile comes to their face.' That's a great accolade. I strive to keep it that way.

I live my life and play my music, and I don't really seek out other people's approval or accolades or things like that. I try to do what's true to me, and how it all comes out is fine.

If any accolades come in the writing of this story, all praise will be His, all Glory will rightly go to Him. If He will allow me to share some part in this, I am truly humbled.

I just recently joined Twitter. It's very positive - I love all the accolades. If my ego is hurting I can just open my Twitter account and see 'Oh I love you! I love the show!' and it's great. I'm trying to find the balance between trying to be funny being honest and just being a promoter as the guy on 'Royal Pains.'

I am very honored for all the distinctions and accolades but what I am most sensitive to is my clientele and the fact they are pleased with my food and my restaurants.
