In cricket, my superhero is Sachin Tendulkar. He has always been my hero and will continue to remain so. Apart from him and outside cricket, my mother has remained my inspiration. Whatever difficult time I had faced, she was always there for me. She has given me all the strength. She maintained her composure and supported me in tough times.

One thing I probably share with everyone else in the astronaut office is composure.

When I am challenged, I am encouraged. Don't misjudge my demeanor of composure and patience.

As a Christian, I know my life is in God's hands. He has a plan for me. Therefore, I never worry about tomorrow or never worry about winning or losing football games. That knowledge gives me a lot of composure in tough situations.

That is who Barack Obama is - a person of admirable character - and that is who he has remained for me over these last four years. I have not agreed with his every decision, but never once have I seen him break his cool, lose his composure, or abandon his insightful perspective - even during the most serious and/or absurd national disasters.

Genuine good taste consists in saying much in few words, in choosing among our thoughts, in having order and arrangement in what we say, and in speaking with composure.

Without accepting the fact that everything changes, we cannot find perfect composure. But unfortunately, although it is true, it is difficult for us to accept it. Because we cannot accept the truth of transience, we suffer.

Things don't always go your way in football: there are always good and bad times. At the end of the day, you have to have a positive attitude and a strong mentality and not let any setbacks get you down. And that's what I've done - I've tried to keep my composure, even when things aren't going the way I'd like.

Anger, temper, rage and aggression stem from weakness and fragility. Compassion, patience, calmness and composure stem from strength and confidence.

You honor yourself by acting with dignity and composure.

True enough nature has endowed me with a fair measure of patience and composure yet I should be lying if I told you that having seen the reporter off on his way to make his deadline I fell peacefully asleep.
