The occult stuff, I grew up having a fascination about world religion and that fascination grew into other religions and other things and I kind of dabbled my way into the occult and started reading about the occult.

I love a good laugh as well I think that's so important in life which is probably why I've dabbled in comedy writing as well as horror. I think if you can make someone laugh or smile it's the most special thing in the world.

I wrote things for the school's newspaper and - like all teenagers - I dabbled in poetry.

I dabbled in things like Howlin' Wolf Cream and Led Zeppelin but when I heard Son House and Robert Johnson it blew my mind. It was something I'd been missing my whole life. That music made me discard everything else and just get down to the soul and honesty of the blues.
