2013 was a year of myths falling apart. The myth of President Obama - a myth in which Obama was a messianic figure descending to bequeath health care, equality, and brotherhood on mankind - imploded. The myth of an America embracing the leftist social agenda collapsed.

There aren't very many good models of feminine rage - and the ones that we remember are ones where women take that anger internally and implode themselves in a real way, like Anna Karenina or Emma Bovary.

That must be love: when everything else in the world could implode and you wouldn't care as long as you had that one person standing beside you.

The financial implode is bound to be reflected in the movies that are being made there's no question.
