Acting is invigorating. But I don't analyse it too much. It's like a dog smelling where it's going to do its toilet in the morning.

And if small businesspeople say they made it on their own all they are saying is that nobody else worked seven days a week in their place. Nobody showed up in their place to open the door at five in the morning. Nobody did their thinking and worrying and sweating for them.

Every year August lashes out in volcanic fury rising with the din of morning traffic its great metallic wings smashing against the ground heating the air with ever-increasing intensity.

Don't make music for some vast unseen audience or market or ratings share or even for something as tangible as money. Though it's crucial to make a living that shouldn't be your inspiration. Do it for yourself.

I find it fascinating that a lot of business books that do well are from people who've never made any money in business.

And I think the more money you put in people's hands the more they will spend. And if they don't spend it they invest it. And investing it is another way of creating jobs. It puts money into mutual funds or other kinds of banks that can go out and make loans and we need to do that.

In my opinion MS is a lot better at making money than it is at making good operating systems.

It can be liberating to get fired because you realize the world doesn't end. There's other ways to make money better jobs.

Clearly this is a tough economic time and a lot of families are hurting. So when we talk to parents we talk about small changes for kids and things that don't cost extra money. Like adding water and eliminating sugary drinks and sodas. That's going to save money right there. Or adding a few more vegetables.

For a successful entrepreneur it can mean extreme wealth. But with extreme wealth comes extreme responsibility. And the responsibility for me is to invest in creating new businesses create jobs employ people and to put money aside to tackle issues where we can make a difference.

Money and corruption are ruining the land crooked politicians betray the working man pocketing the profits and treating us like sheep and we're tired of hearing promises that we know they'll never keep.

When you become a mom you just learn how to function sleep deprived and you do get used to it. I came back to work when Finley was three months old and the first few months were rough. Then somehow you learn to exist on no sleep and now when he does upon occasion sleep through the night which is like a full six hours you're pretty sure he's suffocating. So you don't sleep anyway.

If you just stay away from junk and stick with what your mom taught you you're eating pretty healthy.

When I was 11 my friend's mom made a peanut butter sandwich. I ate the sandwich and was like 'I'm never eating anything else again.' And I still eat peanut butter every day. I would put peanut butter on a steak.

At 3 years old I was imitating and doing fun little commercials for the family. Then at 5 I knew 'OK this is something I really like.' At 8 I was crying in front of the mirror and my mom was like 'Oh boy here we go. We know what she's going to do.'

I begged my mom to let me start skating.

I burnt myself out of skating. I was ready to focus on being a mom.

I make a lot of mistakes too and I'm constantly re-evaluating how I'm doing things and trying to be better every day whether it's as a mom or taking care of myself.

My mother gets all mad at me if I stay in a hotel. I'm 31-years-old and I don't want to sleep on a sleeping bag down in the basement. It's humiliating.

When men hear women want a commitment they think it means commitment to a romantic relationship but that's not it. It's a commitment to not floating around anymore. I want a guy who is entrenched in his own life. Entrenched is awesome.
