"All stories are about wolves. All worth repeating, that is. Anything else is sentimental drivel.
We who make stories know that we tell lies for a living. But they are good lies that say true things, and we owe it to our readers to build them as best we can. Because somewhere out there is someone who needs that story. Someone who will grow up with a different landscape, who without that story will be a different person. And who with that story may have hope, or wisdom, or kindness, or comfort. And that is why we write.
Cram your head with characters and stories. Abuse your library privileges. Never stop looking at the world, and never stop reading to find out what sense other people have made of it. If people give you a hard time and tell you to get your nose out of a book, tell them you're working. Tell them it's research. Tell them to pipe down and leave you alone.
I have claimed that Escape is one of the main functions of fairy-stories, and since I do not disapprove of them, it is plain that I do not accept the tone of scorn or pity with which 'Escape' is now so often used. Why should a man be scorned if, finding himself in prison, he tries to get out and go home? Or if he cannot do so, he thinks and talks about other topics than jailers and prison-walls?
If you want to write, if you want to create, you must be the most sublime fool that God ever turned out and sent rambling. You must write every single day of your life. You must read dreadful dumb books and glorious books, and let them wrestle in beautiful fights inside your head, vulgar one moment, brilliant the next. You must lurk in libraries and climb the stacks like ladders to sniff books like perfumes and wear books like hats upon your crazy heads. I wish you a wrestling match with your Creative Muse that will last a lifetime. I wish craziness and foolishness and madness upon you. May you live with hysteria, and out of it make fine stories - science fiction or otherwise. Which finally means, may you be in love every day for the next 20,000 days. And out of that love, remake a world.
You should write because you love the shape of stories and sentences and the creation of different words on a page. Writing comes from reading, and reading is the finest teacher of how to write.
Stories may well be lies, but they are good lies that say true things, and which can sometimes pay the rent.
After nourishment, shelter and companionship, stories are the thing we need most in the world.
Every face has its own story. They want to communicate; they want to share and they want to be with someone for some time so that they can freely share whatever they have in their mind as well in their heart with someone unknown. To someone who is not going to judge them by listening to their stories.
SUCCESS STORIES GIVES US THE MESSAGE. READ FAILURE STORIES, THEY GIVE IDEAS AND INSPIRE TO SUCCEED.

People are like multi-coloured threads on your life's hoop. Your conversations with them, the designs. And then fate weaves it all for you, and interknits embroidery of all the incomplete colourful stories.
Don't you think all stories are incomplete? I mean, people leave and people die. We are strangled by the baggage but we survive.
Lyra learns to her great cost that fantasy isn't enough. She has been lying all her life, telling stories to people, making up fantasies, and suddenly she comes to a point where that's not enough. All she can do is tell the truth. She tells the truth about her childhood, about the experiences she had in Oxford, and that is what saves her. True experience, not fantasy - reality, not lies - is what saves us in the end.
No longer do I sing, dance or draw pictures; but God has granted me the gift to do them all in my stories.
We know how it ends practically before it starts. That?s why stories appeal to us. They give us the clarity and simplicity our real lives lack".
"What does the beautiful stories tell?
I tell the stories of my life through quotes.
When black people are given a chance to tell their history. They only speak of their weakness, weak moments and defeat. When they are given a chance on Media. They only do stories, series, movies, or write articles about their bad qualities , bad people in the community. They make sure they humiliate them, but whites never do that. Whites tell of their heroes, They tell of great moments, victories and they will never tell of their losses, weakness, bad characters, criminals activities. That is why people don't respect black people or Africa even thou is a great strong continent. It is because they don't know what our heroes have done. To be a narrator is not to steal the show. That is the role I am playing with the Otherness Podcast. I am narrating with a focus on curating and sharing an array of autism stories and experiences. I am not trying to find a cure for autism.
