Ladies and gentlemen it is with great sadness that I announce that I will resign as Australia's Minister for Foreign Affairs. I am sad because I love this job. I'm totally dedicated to the work that we are doing in Australia's name around the world and I believe that we have achieved many good results for Australia and I'm proud of them.

No actually 'The Host' was totally a palate-cleanser for me. I wanted to do something a little bit different than romantic love. Romantic love is in there obviously because I enjoy writing about that and living it a lot.

Temperamentally I'm not a natural producer because I don't have the patience.

Maybe nature is fundamentally ugly chaotic and complicated. But if it's like that then I want out.

Choreography is mentally draining but there's a pleasure in getting into the studio with the dancers and the music.

It was stumbling on to really the bible of the blues you know and a very powerful drug to be introduced to us and I absorbed it totally and it changed my complete outlook on music.

I mean music totally comes from your soul.

There's a lot of music that sounds like it's literally computer-generated totally divorced from a guy sitting down at an instrument.

I usually do get the tomboy parts in the movies which is kind of like me but not totally. I like to shop as much as Ashley but she is a little more of a girlie-girl than me.

I'd see movies comedies and I loved 'Animal House' I loved all the John Hughes stuff but I never saw me and my friends totally represented.

Most of the movies I saw growing up were viewed as totally disposable fine for quick consumption but they have survived 50 years and are still growing.

I think what's dangerous about being an actor who does action movies is you think 'Well I can totally handle myself now.' But if my opponent didn't know the other half of the routine I don't know how well I'd do.
