When the ego has you in its grip, it can distort any reality to make you feel you are the smartest person in the room. But listening with curiosity is the smartest way to show genuine respect to others and gain true wisdom.

Opinions that have no foundation in truth kill more dreams than lack of talent. And it is by listening to our heart that we often find deep-rooted reasons to own the power to make our dreams come true.

As a writer and a poet, I like listening rather than talking. Invariably I like to listen to the life stories and instances of many people whom I meet in life. And the people I meet shape the characters and the stories that I write.
