I'm looking to evolve the concept of the new renaissance artist taking the world by storm through the art of public display and demonstration with technical savvy using cell phones and computers.

Smartphones can relay patients' data to hospital computers in a continuous stream. Doctors can alter treatment regimens remotely instead of making patients come in for a visit.

When I was in Japan on tour in 2010 I felt like I was 30 years into the future. I love technology and they are so advanced with their phones computers everything. I think they had the iPhone way before we did in the U.S. I love gadgets games social media and I try to stay ahead on all that stuff but they get it all first.

I think we are at the very beginning of high changes not only in terms of digital film but in the way the movies will be screened whether they'll be screened on phones on computers - on everything.

From cell phones to computers quality is improving and costs are shrinking as companies fight to offer the public the best product at the best price. But this philosophy is sadly missing from our health-care insurance system.

In the past missionaries have traveled to far countries with the message of the gospel - with great hardship and often with the loss of life. In contrast we can reach millions instantly from the comfort of our homes by merely hitting the 'send' button on our computers or with iPads or phones.

Globalization as defined by rich people like us is a very nice thing... you are talking about the Internet you are talking about cell phones you are talking about computers. This doesn't affect two-thirds of the people of the world.

Many of our own people here in this country do not ask about computers telephones and television sets. They ask - when will we get a road to our village.

Part of the inhumanity of the computer is that once it is competently programmed and working smoothly it is completely honest.

It's about communication. It's about honesty. It's about treating people in the organization as deserving to know the facts. You don't try to give them half the story. You don't try to hide the story. You treat them as - as true equals and you communicate and you communicate and communicate.

Unlike then the mail stream of today has diminished by such things as e-mails and faxes and cell phones and text messages largely electronic means of communication that replace mail.

Today most young women are exposed to technology at a very young age with mobile phones tablets the Web or social media. They are much more proficient with technology than prior generations since they use it for all their school work communication and entertainment.

We need men and women to sit down and talk to each other about sex honestly and openly. That would help us fight Aids so immediately. But our lack of communication is hugely problematic.

Email instant messaging and cell phones give us fabulous communication ability but because we live and work in our own little worlds that communication is totally disorganized.

But I think it's more that when you're young you're invincible you're immortal - or at least you think you are. The possibilities are limitless you're inventing the future. Then you get older and suddenly you have a history. It's fixed. You can't change anything. I find that a bit disturbing to be honest.

Early in life I had to choose between honest arrogance and hypocritical humility. I chose the former and have seen no reason to change.

The world changes in direct proportion to the number of people willing to be honest about their lives.

There are people who own cars and are getting free cell phones. A car helps one find a job too. Where do you draw the line?

You want to try and bring a character to life in an honest a way as you possibly can. It doesn't matter whether he's a doctor an actor a car salesman or a captain of a starship. If you can bring truth and honesty to that character then your audience will believe you.

It's not just the kid who's spent every penny from his job to upgrade his car to tell the world he cares about sports cars it's also the person driving around in a fuel-conscious hybrid electric car because it's more a message to the world than an effective means of saving fuel to be quite honest.

If one's honest about it spending time in a car with children is pretty ghastly.

To be honest I live among the English and have always found them to be very honest in their business dealings. They are noble hard-working and anxious to do the right thing. But joy eludes them they lack the joy that the Irish have.

Not since the steam engine has any invention disrupted business models like the Internet. Whole industries including music distribution yellow-pages directories landline telephones and fax machines have been radically reordered by the digital revolution.
