Fame is something I think happens as a result of trying to do good work. If you're trying to be famous your work usually suffers.

Popstars really draws you in. It's fascinating. It's interesting to watch people thrown together in that kind of a situation. Even if the egos weren't involved and they weren't trying to be world famous. It's the Real World only better.

The vast majority of large scale change efforts fail. Which means that the probability that you have actually experienced a failure and your people know that and are pessimistic therefore about trying something again is very high.

I was brought up to believe that there is no such thing as failure as long as I'm trying my best. So I've had a 'blood guts and glory' approach through my whole life.
